Yep... someone already brought up the matter of Rotscale.
And I swear.... if someone in the next week can actually video themselves killing Rotscale in Hard Mode, and surviving ...... I will actually... genuinely... video myself eating my hat.
[Technically I have about five hats, but I'll pick one that I might actually be able to chew through.]

Why? Blind doesn't work or something? Maybe an SS guy with a blinding surge ele, who knows. I didn't dare to try him myself yet but I doubt it's totally impossible.

Guild Wars needs a difficulty to bridge the gap between normal mode and hard mode. Normal mode is too easy, hard mode is too hard. Those ele bosses are just... Eww.

remember guys a lev 30 will have significantly more attributes. there is a reason the official attrib scale goes up to 20 even though the best we can ever get too is 17 with a +1 % chance offhand. maybe 18 if you have a +1 % on the offhand and weapon. But admittedly 16 is the normal max for us as players. But a lev 30. 20 may be achievable on their primary attrib and as such make one heck of an attack. along with the lev bonus that can REALLY hurt...

Not impossible, but it wasn't pretty. :P
He must have over 5000 HP and insane armor on top of that, so physical and elemental damage wasn't hurting him all that much. His Deathly Swarm hits for 350 on a squishy, Desecrate with 1 enchantment for ~200. Auto-attacks for 150-200. Plus, he randomly dazes people >.<
The builds we used were SS (you can see in the screenshot), recovery dom mes, fire nuker, axe warrior (specced for damage, not tanking) and 3 monks. 2 prot spirits, 1 spirit bond, but I don't remember the elites. One of them was LoD. (Olias was a MM and thus, pretty much useless. He helped us getting there, but we just left him on the ground when fighting Rotscale.)
All I can say is good luck to anyone vanquishing majesty's rest. This was waaay harder than Perdition Rock and probably as hard as Mineral Springs. :P

ROFL.
Didn't see that post.
Soticoto, I'm sorry I don't have a video (and my comp sucks too much... when I run fraps, I'm playing at 10 FPS) but I can post a few screenshots of the fight in progress if you really want :P

Maybe some [skill]Scourge Healing[/skill] or [skill]Scourge Enchantment[/skill] to go with that shutdown.
Interrupts suck, but shutdown and punishment are both great.

as there was St George´s Day two days ago, our ally decided to make event and kill dragons in hard mode:
GLINT:
dont remember if she was lvl 31 or 32... anyway interrupts ftw :P
ROTSCALE:
this one was nasty lvl32, mainly his "bodyguards" caused troubles, we nearly got wiped out, but manage to survive it at last
KUUNAVANG:
don´t have pics of this one, but the hardest part of it was to get 16 ppl to have ppl at both sides :P

managed to kill willa. The trick is -10 degen (burning? hexes?), and knockdowns. lot of knockdowns. I used 2 meteor showers.

Have beaten Hell's Precipice twice now.
First run - SS (Me), Water Ele & Barrage Ranger (Guildies), SV (someone I don't know), 2 Monk heroes, interupt mesmer hero, and warrior (bad pulls, terrible play, left just after activated bonus)
Near wipe once or twice, but completed it first try
Second run - Tonight, with a full vent group with Rahja, ele dropped out at rurik
Was annoying, but not hard.

Anyone had the pleasure yet of meeting Star Ancient Koosun in Raisu palace? I was in there with a leet sauce group yesterday and he pwned 4 people at once with sliver armor. Still made it on masters though, so if you people read this->you own ^^. but koosun is evil.

Yes I did. Celestial Storm = PWND.
We took him down in the mission and explorable. The monk boss was more annoying mind you, in explorable that is. He kept trying to run off to find his mates and...AAARRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH I HATE SPELLBRAKER.

Theoretically, very true, in practice we pulled a bit too much baddies at once. We did have an ele with us though, doing raisu without one is rather daft.
